I built Picknar as a lightweight tool to extract YouTube thumbnail images in max resolution without requiring login, extensions, or third-party API keys. The main focus was performance and simplicity: No account required Direct thumbnail extraction Supports Shorts Minimal frontend dependencies Optimized for fast response time The idea came after noticing that most similar tools were either overloaded with ads, slow, or required unnecessary steps.
